Please reach out to us at office@curafunctional.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Anyone can prescribe a pill in a 10-minute visit, but it takes longer to get to the root of things and for patients to truly be heard. At Cura Functional Medicine we believe this time is important. Initial consultations and lab review visits may run approximately 1-1.5 hours, with other follow-up visits approximately 45-60 minutes. Exact times may vary based on each case and clinical complexity.
We do not accept any commercial insurance, but if you have out-of-network benefits, you can submit claims on your own directly to your insurance plan. A written invoice and super-bill can be made available for this purpose upon request.
Cura Functional Medicine can accept payments through credit cards, flex cards, and direct bank (ACH) transfer. We also offer payment plans through Klarna.
Cura Functional Medicine is happy to see children and adults of any age, except if they have Medicare insurance.
At this time, we are not able to see patients covered by Medicare or Medicare Advantage plans at Cura Functional Medicine. This is unfortunately the case even if you have additional insurance, are willing to pay “cash,” or are not submitting claims to your insurance.
Currently, Cura Functional Medicine is accepting new patients from New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Florida.

Cura Functional Medicine is not equipped to provide primary care. We ask all patients to maintain a separate primary care practitioner during their care at Cura; however, we are happy to collaborate with your primary care practitioner.
For disability paperwork, we recommend that patients contact their primary care practitioner or specialist who is treating them most directly for their condition. If Cura Functional Medicine is the primary provider for a patient's disability-related condition, we will consider it on a case-to-case basis, but an appointment will be required to facilitate a conversation about the disability request.
Cura Functional Medicine does not offer emergency services. In the case of an emergency, please dial 9-11 or go to your nearest emergency room. If you have an urgent medical issue that cannot wait until your next visit, please contact your primary care practitioner.
